Mission:
Behind the Mask of Familiarity
Location: Shuttlecraft "Runaway"
Timeline: Current
T'kaarch nervously walked in circles as the shuttle descended onto Citadel Prime. He needed supplies, or he wouldn't have been here, but the whole idea of a hub of local trade agonizes him, at best. Holly smiled and stepped in front of him to catch his attention. This only partially succeeded, as T'kaarch first stepped right through the hologram, only stopping the lap afterwards.
"Excuse me, captain, I just wanted to inform you we're in the final stages of the descent. Please be ready to talk to local security" It was indeed not unlikely that a Federation Shuttlecraft, even one as old and customized as this one, would catch the attention of local security or customs officers.
At that point, T'kaarch noticed something in a corner of his eyes. "Ensign, what's that federation ship over there?" Holly cheerfully sent a magnification to the plasma TV on one of the walls of the shuttle. "USS Archimedes, Nova class. Looks like some sort of science ship." Holly declamated as if she was reading it from a database, which in fact wasn't far from the truth.
T'kaarch eyes grew smaller, then larger. "Penny for your thoughts, Captain?" Holly asked cheerfully. "What if... what if we left this shuttlecraft, and go to places further then where we've ever been?" "Oohh, sounds exciting, captain!" Holly smiled gracefully. "Do you want me to hail them?"
T'kaarch made his mind up. "I'm gonna regret this, but yes, contact them."
Holly stood still in thought for a second, while accessing the shuttle's communication systems.
"This is shuttlecraft Runaway, ensign Holly for the USS Archimedes. Please respond?"
