| Physical Description | Brown hair, blue-grey eyes. His hair sometimes seems to reflect his emotions, when he's relaxed it's combed to either side, while when he's stressed it's straight up, like a rough sea. His eyes seem to share these features, seemingly becoming a brighter blue when he's happier, and a duller grey when he's sad. No explanations have been given as to why this happens. His skin is caucasian, and does not seem to share the trait of his eyes and hair. |

| Personal History | Early life: Jimmy grew up with his mother (Ruby Cooper) in New Martim Vaz. He always had a thing for nature and the sea - which, considered he lived under one, wasn't entirely unexplainable - but he had from a young age the uncanny ability to understand sea animals up to some extent, which gave him nicknames ranging from 'the dolphin whisperer' to 'seaweed-brain' dependent on who you'd ask. He doesn't know who his father is, though his mother used to describe him as a good-looking navy guy. Starfleet academy: His talents quickly recognised, he got recruited into starfleet at age 16, though it took him a while to settle for the space environment as opposed to his aquatic home. He was described as 'silent' and 'boring' by most of his classmates, though the few that he did open up to he had a warm and reliable character. Unsuprisingly, he graduated in Science with a special notion in aquatic (exo)Biology. Later life: His dependable character made him rise up the rank relatively quickly. At age 25 he got promoted to Assistant Science Officer, as well as Junior Lieutenant on the USS Rhode Island when their assistant up to that point died on an away mission. Considering this was his first experience with death, it gave him a deep scar, especially since he was expected to fill a void left behind by his former superior. This scar hasn't healed entirely up to this point, and he is still reluctant to go on away missions or send someone under his command. Recently he got his promotion to Lieutenant, and was recommended for a Chief Science Officer position. When the USS Ranger came up, he immediately replied. |
