Joe's COMM Badge sounded, as he was relaxing in the sun in the holodeck. "Couldn't you wait till I had a tan!", he said sarcastically, as the COMM Badge switched off. Joe got up from the floor, "Computer, close program". The sunny beach then faded away into darkness, with Joe standing in the middle.
After leaving the Bridge and having a talk with the Captain, Jack was in the turbolift heading to Flight Control to meet one of his officers. The Captain mentioned about the land-to-air projectiles, so he had to remember that when he goes down.
The turbolift doors opened. Jack stepped out and began walking along the corridor. Along this deck, was the shuttlebay, where he'd meet the away team. Then not long after, was the Flight Control Center, where Jack leaned againt the wall and waited for the young ensign.
Joe quickly ran to the turbolift after getting back into uniform, "Deck 4". He hoped the chief would be patient with him, but at least, he has had fun in the holodeck. In a matter of seconds, the doors opened and Joe clambered out, and walked past the shuttlebay, and saw Lieutenant Parsons waiting.
As soon as Joe arrived, Jack smiled and said, "Ensign Hillsman, you and I are going to pilot a shuttle down to Citadel Prime. The Nagasaki crew sent down a shuttle but was hit by land-to-air projectiles. We don't want that to happen to us! Understood".
Joe nodded, "Understood sir, but do we know the cause?"
"We do not know yet, but we don't want to be the evidence for people to find out", Jack replied, as he stepped into the Flight Control Center, then looked around, before turning back to look at Joe.
"Understood", Joe replied again.
"Good", Jack said with a smile, then passed him a PADD, "I expect to see you on time when we are ready to go down. You are dismissed".
Joe nodded, then turned away from Jack, and walked towards the turbolift.
