Location: Enroute to the USS Archimedes
Timeline: Current

John sat patiently on the small orbital shuttle that was taking him to what will be his new home.
Home He thought to himself quietly. John never imagined he would be calling a big tin can that can hurdle itself across the galaxy at incredible speeds his home.

The USS Archimedes a Nova Class Starship he read on the PADD he was holding trying to get accustomed to the technical layout of this giant tin can. Crew Compliment: 100 ONE HUNDRED, That’s one hundred times I‘m gonna make a fool of myself He thought to himself as he slumped in his seat a little.

Still going over the PADD he faintly heard the woman‘s voice “We’re approaching Space dock, Sir.� the Petty Officer chimed knocking him out of his daze. “Sorry Petty Officer I guess I was daydreaming, Thank you� He replied to her. John set the PADD down and stared out the window as the shuttle cruised through the small space doors that were only big enough to accommodate shuttle craft.

The Petty Officer punched in more coordinates and the shuttle jutted left then right and finally settled back level and the view had changed from grey textures to blue and white with lights as far as one can see. John was struck in amazement as the first glimpse of that so called tin can of a home appeared into view.

“USS Archimedes this is shuttle SD1A requesting permission to dock� the Petty Officer called out.
“Shuttle SD1A your cleared to dock� the mans voice replied to her. “Welcome to your new home, Sir� she said to him. HOME
