[Sickbay]

"Commander, I strongly suggest you lay down and rest." the nurse protested as she noticed Cattmor attempt to exit herself from the bed after being beamed there from the bridge unconscious. "You still have injuries that require medical treatment, sir..."

Rylie closed her eyes tight before opening them fully and sitting straighter than she actually wanted to in that moment. She knew the nurse was correct and on some level wanted to heed her words, but she still needed to leave. "I know," she interjected while gingerly dabbing the blood stain on her forehead where it meshed with her blond bangs. "I should still be in a position to do something." she said looking round at the dotted wounded.

"Commander, I strongly protest..."

"Objection noted, doctor, but I'm still going. There are other people that need your assistance greater than I." And she tried to leave again, and failed, her knees buckling from the sudden jolt of dead weight on the floor. Her stomach started feeling really queezy, and she just about managed to quell the burn of bile back down.

"Not right now." the nurse interjected, helping Rylie back on the biobed. "You still have a nasty concussion, a slightly sprained wrist, and a hairline fracture of your T-9 rib." Cattmor sighed, half in pain, the other half in frustration. "It looks as though we've been successful in getting back to when we belong, but that's all the status I can update you with right now," she continued, injecting a compound into Cattmor's neck to take the edge off the feeling in her stomach, "Apart from Mister Jensen has taken point in Engineering while the Chief concentrates on the rest of the ship, and you've missed it all for about four hours."

"The captain?" Rylie asked as her rib was repaired.

"Already treated for a broken arm, otherwise no worse for wear. As far as I'm aware, she's resting in her quarters while repairs to the ship continue."

Now that the rib had been done, Rylie tried again to stand, "Then I should be on the bridge."

"Commander..." the nurse groaned. "Sit...please."

Rylie sighed again but complied. There didn't seem to be much she could do.

[Engineering]

Jensen was just coming out from the last access panel of the recently rebuilt Warp Core. His Chief had given Jensen the task of completing the repairs. The systems were now fully back on line; he moved to the Console.

"Jensen to Bridge." He started. 'throw the switch we can give you power for warp." He reported. "Only took us fourteen rather than the eighteen hours estimated." Jensen wiped the sweat from his brow; in all likelihood he would just get some sack time then go get food. "You have Main power."

T'mpest, contrary to doctor's instructions, was on the bridge. "Good news. Thank you," she said, answering the comm herself.

"Just trying to make a reputation as a 'Miracle Worker..." He said in a bad Scotsman accent.

T'mpest sighed. She had enough of Haruna trying to do that. "Just do your best and keep me updated. Thank you again. Bridge out."

She turned to helm. "You heard him. Lay in a course and head for the nearest starbase." She was looking forward to a few weeks of shore leave.

"Keep it under warp four and you will save the bumps and shuttering ma'am." Jensen put in. "Warp three will keep it a fairly smooth ride and get you there quickest, Engineering back to the grind." He cut the channel as the noise might be noticed.

"Understood," T'mpest said. "Thank you." She opened a ship-wide channel. "This is the captain. We now have warp engines and will be heading to the neaerest starbase for repairs. When we arrive and report in, we will begin shore leave rotations. Welcome home."
