Personal log, stardate 64051.2; this is the first log entry that I have been able to record for the past twelve days. Why? My life as it was was turned to complete mulch by the powers that be. What powers they are or were I couldn’t say for sure, but one thing that I can be sure of is that something is not right – but at this present moment in time there is nothing that I can do about it. For four days, I was locked in my quarters aboard the USS Archimedes by Captain Alexandra Harwood, not able to make contact with the outside world bar a failed attempt to get in contact with my sister back on Earth, scrutinized and supervised by Harwood, then eight days incarcerated in the Yosemite’s brig under her orders, and it’s taken me half of that time virtually begging to be able to get access to a PADD to record this.

I’ve been told that we should be docking with Starbase Two-Seventeen for the crew’s much needed shore leave in about five hours; I on the other hand will not be so lucky as to enjoy any leave for the foreseeable future, unless of course I’m cashiered out of the service with a dishonourable discharge certificate. I have heard on the grapevine that my trial is due to start early tomorrow morning, but apart from that I know nothing of the proceedings, and I almost shudder to think what Harwood has in line for me. For my part, I’m hoping for this thing to be dealt with swiftly, cleanly... and fairly.
