Mission: Shoreleave - Welcoming Old Friends and New
Location: Sickbay
Timeline: Current

ON:

Staff Nurse Jass strolled into sickbay with a confident and arrogant air that he purposefully wore to create a lasting impression. He had been informed that the Archimedes had been docked in the Utopia Planetia Fleet Yards for coming up several weeks, and had now received the order to report aboard and unpack, taking a shared set of quarters with three other medical staff.

As he walked in, he spied Nurse Maria Traho from behind, smiled to himself in confidence and whistled. “Well, what little specimen do we have here, little lady, he called out across the quiet medical bay. “Man, did I just get lucky with this posting!

Delighted that she had been noticed, Maria turned her head and looked up at him through her eyelashes. A smile lifted her cheeks and she pursed her lips in what she knew was an alluring expression. She put down the PADD she had been reading. The latest celebrity gossip from Earth could wait. She swung her legs and jumped neatly off the biobed to ensure her body wobbled in all the correct places and, standing, waited for him to approach her.

“My, he said, scanning her with his eyes from her heeled, non-standardised boots, up her lengthy legs and over her form, “Nurse Hugh Jass, he initiated, a twinkle in his green eyes betraying his arrogance. He walked up to her, raised an eyebrow – his right – and widely smiled.

"Nurse Maria Traho. Delighted." She returned his handshake carefully, never losing eye contact, then withdrew her hand and used it to flick a large lock of treacle hair behind her shoulder. She hopped back onto the biobed and smiled again. Then crossed her leg, making the movement as slow as she could.

“Traho? he replied. Placing a hand at the side of her thigh on the outer rail of the biobed, he held his own weight and leant in slightly, breathing her in. “Sounds an awful lot like “trouble if you ask me.

She looked down at his hand then back at his lips, then his eyes. "It's Italian" she breathed. "That's all you need to know." Their eyes locked and she blinked, suggestively.

All I need to know for now, he thought to himself. “Understood, Jass replied, an indicative nod in her direction. “So, are you up to? Anything that I can assist you with?

"Actually, there is something you can do for me, Hugh - can I call you Hugh?"

“Of course, Maria, he attempted.

"Good." She breathed in and out slowly allowing her chest to expand fully. "I need you to help me do a few tweaks on the EMH's programme. You see he has been studying 21st century Earth infestations. It's sort of a hobby of his, you know and I know that those wonderful engineering people are far too busy to help so I volunteered. Except..." here she laughed a sweet little laugh, "I am not quite sure how to change his programme. I don't suppose you could teach me?"

“I can teach you anything and everything you need to know.

"Oh thank you so much. I really am everso grateful...." She let the promise of her gratitude hang in the air, looking up at him through her large brown eyes.

“Better get started then, he replied, rolling up his sleeves as he straightened up.
