Mission:
The Shining Truth
Location: The Brig
Timeline: Current
:ON
Lucy felt the guards pick up the pace as they neared the brig again. She was getting tired of being imprisoned and for a fleeting minute, imagined belting each guard in the stomach and running off. She would have nowhere to go of course but the notion made her smile, albeit briefly.
They apprached the doors, which opened with sickening familiarity and the forcefield was lowered. Lucy could not see Lane and assumed he was asleep on the bench. Entering her cell, she realised he was not there at all and nearly cried out but managed to stop herself. Whatever had happened, she was not going to remark upon. Passive resistance was her only hope now.
