Jack throw his hands up and shouted. "I got it!"
"Here we go." John said with a sign.
=============================
"We build..." He paused almost for dramatic effect. "A flux capacitor!" Jack slapped the table and smiled from ear to ear.
"A what?" John question with a raised brow. "I never heard of it."
"It sounds familiar." Garry added, looking over to John, before directing his attention back to Jack.
"It's simple. A flux capacitor is what makes time travel possible." Jack looked around the table before continuing. "All we need is a rod of plutonium and a charge of 1.21 Gigawatts. There should be a set of plans in our files. As soon as we build it we attach it to the warp core. Or a DeLorean. Whichever works, but as soon as we hit 88 miles an hour, you're gonna see some serious sh-"
"Where the hell are we going to get plutonium?" John shouted, interrupting Jack.
"Libyans terrorists." Jack responded quickly. "Just remember we have to wear bulletproof vests because they are cagey and could start firing at us at any minute."
"That was Back to the Future!" Garry shouted. "No wonder that sounded familiar. You took that straight out of the plot from the movie. Even the Libyan terrorists."
"It’s called Back... to... the... Future. It's seems relevant to the situation." Jack replied quickly and with a stern look on his face.
John looked at Garry and asked. "Isn't the first one about going to the past?"
"Yeah, but after they go to the past they have to go back to the future, so the title fits that way. The second one was about going to the future and returning to the past." Garry replied as he looked to John.
"So why didn't they call that one Back to the Past?" John raised a brow, confused.
"Its a franchise thing. It gets very complicated toward the end." Garry said softly, shaking his head. "You have to watch it to understand."
"In the third one they go to the wild west." Jack added with a smile. "It's fun. And there is a time train."
"Stop... Stop!" Morgana shouted, throwing her hands up. "This is getting us nowhere!" She pointed to John. "You're not helping by trying to make sense of it." She than pointed to Garry. "You're not helping by knowing what he is talking about." She finally pointed to Jack. "And you're not helping by using dumb movie ideas." He paused slightly before adding. "And you're sleeping on the couch tonight."
Jack sat there quietly before saying. "Well aren't you going to mention your idea?"
"What idea?" Morgana said quickly, still frustrated with the current events. "What possible idea, would I have, that you would consider so ground breaking?"
"You know..." Jack said softly, looking around the table, before focusing back on Morgana and adding. "The one with the blue police box and that doctor guy?"
"Doctor who?" John asked confused.
Jack quickly pointed to John and said. "Yeah. That guy."
"I don't get it? What's his name?" John looked over to Garry who just shrugged, equally as confused.
"I'm just as lost as you, Dude."
"Doctor Who." Jack said with a serious look on his face. "I don't know his name, but he goes by Doctor Who. He has a British blue police box and he goes through time with this chick, it’s usually a chick which is kinda sexist if you think about it, but they go through time and there is this catchy tune to it. It gets in your head for weeks." Jack chuckled softly. "And... and... and, when he dies, he regenerates or something and looks completely different. He's been a dude for years until they finally turned him into a chick. Big uproar." He said with a smirk. "But it’s still a must see." He then turned his attention to Orin and concluded. "So, all we need is a blue police box called a... umm... " He turned quickly back to Morgana and asked. "What was it called, Babe?"
"That was a bloody television show! It was all fake. Actors. British Actors on British television. Every so often he would change to refresh the character with a new face." Morgana shouted before letting out a frustrated growl. "And it was called a TARDIS! The box was called a TARDIS!" She ran her hand through her hair before placing them both on her face.
"Oh yeah." Jack said with a smirk on his face. "It's a TARDIS..." He looked to Orin and added. "It looks small, but its bigger on the inside."
Orin closed his eyes and tilted his head back, letting out a deep sigh. Just as he was about to raise his voice a tone rang throughout the room.
"Major ch'Valri? Captain Michaels is outside wish to enter. Shall I let her in?" Ra announced over the intercom.
"Yes." Orin answered quickly, thankful this was all over in a way. "Please allow her in."
"Very well." Ra responded.
"Thank you, Captain." Morgana said before letting out a deep sigh of relief. She stood up and looked around. "I'm going to my quarters to read a book. No." She said quickly, changing her mind. "After all this... I need a drink." She looked over to Jack and added. "And I will be drinking alone."
Jack let out a sigh before giving her a pouted looked on his face. "Really?" He shook his head before turning to look to John. "Hey, D? You think I could crash-"
"Nope." John said quickly, in his deep voice, as he stood up. "Crash somewhere else."
"Hey..." Jack said as he looked to Garry and smiled. "G-man. My man. Come on. What do you say? Me and you? All night Future-thon. I'm in the mood to watch the trilogy again."
Garry shook his head. "Sorry, Jack. I got plans. Maybe some other time."
"Really? Your gonna bail on the McFly? That's heavy." Jack replied with a smile before turning to Orin. He opened his mouth, before quickly shutting it and shaking his head. "Not even gonna try."
Orin let out another sigh. This was a pointless venture. This was a conversation best had with someone he trusts would take it seriously. At least John and Morgana tried to come up with something, but it was derailed just as quickly as it began.
As Morgana walked toward the door, she stopped by Orin and placed her hand on his shoulder, speaking softly into his head. "I'll look into a few Intel files we have. Maybe I can find something, Boss." She looked around before letting out a sigh and adding. "Sorry it was a disaster, but it was good in theory."
The doors soon opened as T'mpest stood on the other side. Orin let out a slight of a smile, feeling her presence behind him. At least this wouldn't be a complete lose."
