It had been over not six hours since the away team had left Commander Arkham on the surface of Citadel Prime and returned to the Archimedes, and Lane was sure that all of them required some rest and a hot meal after what had transpired in the Tower. However, today was not a day for rest.

Tapping his combadge as he walked through the bridge towards his ready room doors, he said, "Lieutenant Parsons, please report to my office."

The shuttle was stationary and secured on the surface of the planet, and the Archimedes being as small as it was, with an even smaller shuttlebay, could ill afford to abandon such an necessity.

Jack tapped his COMM badge, "On my way. Parsons out". Jack stepped into the turbolift after having a nice hot meal, "Deck 1". Everything happens so quickly, it was like only yesterday he took the away team down and now he was back on the Archimedes.

The doors opened, and Jack stepped out, heading to the ready room, and rang the chime, awaiting for the captain to let him in.

"Enter," the Trill said as he placed down the PADD he held in hand.

Jack straightened his uniform, then stepped into the ready room with his hands behind his back, with his back straight.

"Ah, Mr. Parsons. Take a seat, please," he replied as he motioned to the chair before him. "Now, I understand that you have only just returned from the surface, but, I'm afraid I am going to have to ask you to return. We need that shuttle back as soon as you can. I'm not comfortable leaving it down there for much longer than we need to."

Jack took the seat, as his hands laid on the table. "Understood Captain".

"Thank you, Lieutenant," he said with a smile. "Take who you need and then report to Transporter Room 1 in about 20 minutes. I'll inform Master Chief Martolin of the coordinates for you. Is there anything you need, Jack?"

"Nothing at the moment sir, that shuttle will be back on the Archimedes soon enough!", Jack said with a smile.

"Good, Mr. Parsons. Your enthusiasm… enthuses me," he said with a smile. "That'll be all then, Lieutenant. Contact the ship once you secure the shuttle."
