The Archimedes has been tasked to accompany the Citadel Task Force assigned to bring peace to the war torn systems of the Citadel Sectors. Her first priority is to head to Citadel Prime, the former Capital Planet of the once powerful empire and rendezvous with the USS Nagasaki, the lead vessel of the Task Force. Peace must be brought to this region of the Alpha Quadrant before it can escalate even further.

In The Dark

Having arrived at Citadel Prime and the tower, the Archimedes rendezvous' with the USS Nagasaki's Diplomatic party on the surface, bringing to light the current state of affairs within the Citadel Sectors. However, a nameless shadow lurks in the ether and when things take a turn for the worst; it will take the entire crew working together to salvage the mission.

Wolves in Sheep's Clothing

As peace negotiations between the three chief Citadel races get underway down on Citadel Prime, a Starfleet diplomatic party (made up of Archimedes' and Nagasaki' crewmembers alike) arrive in the magnificent Tower to oversee Federation interests. As they calmly take their seats to witness this historical occasion, a commotion rumbles in the crowd before them...

"A shot from the balcony above rang out, hitting its mark -- Commander Arkham. Gritting her teeth in pain and clutching her left side, she forced herself to the floor as panic ensued, pulling down Carter as well -- there was no need for the young Ensign to get killed on this fool's errand."

With the talks in tatters, and officers wounded, each interested faction retreats back to their own corner to reassess and recuperate. However, the state of affairs causes all manner of sorts to come out of the woodwork. But, behind the facade of friendly faces lies a smattering of hostile intentions; each one aligned to their own cause to bring about their own rendering of the "greater good" for the Alpha Quadrant.

Behind the Mask of Familiarity

While the Archimedes dangles in orbit above the magnificent Citadel Prime, the treachery and sabotage that begins to unfold on her small decks will take her entire crew to band together and stand their ground in order to overcome it. The adversity they are still to face still lingers in the unknown.

With loyalties stretched until breaking point and new faces and old playing their own part in the uncertain future of the Arch, the Captain has few to turn to, and fewer to trust.

Peace talks on the surface still on hold, the Second Officer arrested for, among other things, treason and three of the senior staff with dark secrets kept hidden under the cloak of duty. Will the Archimedes and her crew survive to complete their mission and save not only the peace negotiations they were tasked here to oversee, but themselves from the nameless shadow whose smile masks their own benevolence?

The Shining Truth

"Commander, I didn't realise that it was dress-down Friday," he quipped, narrowing his eyes on his First Officer, now realising which side she had chosen to ally herself with. "What"„¢s the meaning of this?"

"I'm sure, Coltan, that you already know," Arkham said coolly. "We have tried to be reasonable. We have given you numerous chances to cooperate and to work with us, but you have chosen the Archimedes and the Fleet over the Federation, and for this there is no forgiveness. My only rational course is to perform that dreaded duty of a First Officer."

"What are you talking about, Rowena?" The appeal to her familiar name caused no reaction from that steely gaze of hers as she stared almost through him. He felt the colour drain from his face as the cool air around him touched his clammy brow. He swallowed, somewhat vocally, but maintained his fix on her.

"Captain Coltan Wintersley Lane," Arkham began, speaking over the Captain, "under Starfleet Regulation, I hereby remove you from Command."


Captain Lane has been removed from command of the USS Archimedes and incarcerated in her brig as his First Officer takes control of the state of affairs and the ship under the advisement of a disloyal mission advisor, Captain Harwood. Faced only with the company of another officer accused of murder, Lieutenant Carter, the revealing truth of his first mission in command slowly unfolds as he stands powerless to act upon the information. Who are the real puppeteers pulling the strings of the players in this strategic game? And can the crew band together to survive the fall-out?

Shoreleave - Welcoming Old Friends and New

With Captain Harwood now incarcerated, and the ever distant peace talks now resolved, the Archimedes makes its trip back to Starfleet Headquarters on Earth to refuel, relax and welcome a few additions to the crew.
