Original Sim

Hey Ranger Crew-

Zhukov (Matt) here to let you know about an exciting new sim that I am putting together. It takes place 103 years before the Ranger sim, around the time that the Wrath of Khan movie was set (2285). The name of the ship is called the USS Pathfinder, a Miranda Class ship, and our own Captain has helped me set it up and will be playing a character in the new sim.

The year 2285 was a time when there was still neutral zones between Klingon, Romulan, and Federation space. A time before the Borg, Cardassians, Bajorans, and the Dominion. There were no families or children on board Federation ships unless they were heading to a colony or had been rescued. There were no Holodecks and no advanced food replicators. It was a very difficult time for the Federation which had been locked in a cold war with the Klingons for decades.

This is an idea that I have been working on for about two weeks now, and I am going to take a proposal to the Triad tomorrow to see if I can get it in Obsidian Fleet. I hope you will take a look and consider signing on with the ship. The cool graphics are in the works but you can see an early copy under the missions tab on the Pathfinder website.

So, if you like Original Trek like I do (I like them all actually), then come on over and check out the USS Pathfinder for something just a little different, but still pretty Trekky!
